Title: | Relief Fragment with Draped Female Figure
Category: | Sculpture | |
Description: | Right side of relief, fairly even (seems cut and comes forward a little on front edge). Back rough-picked, convex surface. A little of top surface preserved (?), probably not much missing below. The head of the figure is gone with flaking off of marble above of face; feet missing; left arm not distinguishable. She wears a chiton girt at the waist, and stands with weight on left leg, the slightly bent right clear through the thin drapery. Her right arm hangs at her side. Close beyond it are traces of another standing draped figure. Surface much damaged. Shallow carving. Pentelic marble.
