Title:   Relief Fragment with Herakles

Description:   Broken at the right; the antefixial decoration at the top battered, and the whole surface or the figures mostly gone.
Against a background deeply sunk below the surrounding border, Herakles is standing facing, nude, his right hand rests on his club; his left, bent at the elbow, holds the lion's skin, which falls down to the ground. At his left, the lower arm and hand of another person is stretched toward him, holding a winged Nike, facing right.
Pentelic marble.
