Title:   Portrait Head of Male Figure

Description:   Bearded head, broken away at the neck; the nose and piece of the left ear missing.
Close cropped hair and beard in very low relief. The iris and pupil of the eyes are both indicated. The wrinkles on the forehead are heavily marked. The surface shows distinct tool-marks.
Pentelic marble.
Drilled for setting with bronze pin 1956.
