Title:   Head of Female Figure from Grave Relief

Description:   Relief surface, with head and a bit of drapery at the back of the neck, only preserved; otherwise broken.
End of nose, chin, and most of mouth missing; gash in the right cheek.
A female head in high relief, in profile to right, looking upwards, her hair bound with a fillet.
Probably a seated figure, eyes glancing upwards, suggestively she looks at the person whose hand she probably held.
Pentelic marble.
Context:   Byzantine wall.
