Description: | Upper right corner of small grave stele, with a female figure preserved from the waist up. The relief is framed at the right by a pilaster. At the top, part of the pediment is preserved. A woman, probably seated, facing three-quarters left, glances downwards. Her hair is gathered in a large knot behind. She wears a chiton, which falls in a few heavy folds across the breast. Surface of face, hair and arm damaged. Pentelic marble. | |
