Title:   Male Portrait Head

Description:   The face, except for corner of left eye, and the left cheek, is missing; otherwise intact. The neck ends in a carefully cut tenon.
The head is that of a man with a thick curly beard and short curly hair beginning to be thin above forehead.
Island marble.
Drilled for setting on base June 1950.
Conservation Status:   Finished
Context:   First cut south; fill of Valerian Wall.
