He holds the left forepaw in his left hand, while his right passes over the neck of the lion, which rests on his right shoulder. Herakles and the Nemean lion (?). Extremely coarse grained Island marble. ADDENDA Published (Agora XI) as Bellerophon lifting the dead Chimera. | |
