Title:   Oscillum Fragment with Relief

Description:   Part of a large flat circular disk of marble; saw marks in the back. On the top, around the edge, a wreath of olive leaves; inside, the legs and staff of a nude man moving right, all in low relief. Traces of red on the background of the wreath.
Neo-Attic?
Three joining fragments, S 934 (ΠΘ 2562), S 1274 (ΠΠ 75), S 1328 (ΠΠ 425), give a satyr from the waist down and nearly a quarter of an encircling olive wreath. A small non-joining fragment, A 1298 (ΠΠ 304), also belongs.
Pentelic (?) marble.
Filled out in plaster to give the full circle of the plaque.
