Description:   Amphora neck and mouth with both handles and part of shoulder preserved; rather short wide neck, sharply set off from broad shoulder; broad projecting lip, rounded below, slightly concave on top; light ridge around neck below rim; short heavy handles oval in section, attached just below lip; the sides of the neck pushed in and the lip pushed up by their attachment.
Painted in red on the neck.
Stamped on one handle: “alpha”; dipinto.
