Title:   Urn and Lid
Category:   ST Marble
Description:   A block of marble, rough hewn on the sides, smoothed with a claw (?) on top. The interior has been hollowed in a rectangle 0.635x0.42m., rounded at the corners 0.23m. deep, deepening toward center.
Inside surface is covered with marks of a sharp point.
Lid looks like a millstone. It is a disc, rough hewn around edge and smoothed on the visible broad surface with the same claw (?) used on top of the sarcophagos.
Pentelic marble.
Notes:   The excavation date is questionable.
Context:   Found just west of center of lot, top of lid ca. 1.90m. below top of garage floor.
