Description: | Preserved head with a pierced handle above it. Broken at the back, and below the chin. The features are large and very crude; the hair lies along the forehead and sides of the face in large scallops. From the top of the head, is a triangular projection which ends in a narrow, somewhat pointed knob with a single groove along its top, and a small hole pierced through it. Mold made; hollow. No trace of color. Coarse clay, micaceous, light red to buff. | |
