| Description: | Two posts, a plank-like fragment with two holes cut through it, and at least seven other fragments remain. The posts are rectangular and plain below; above, each is carved into two superimposed knobs; along the upper edge of the better preserved of these, part of a shallow-cut tongue pattern remains; about 0.04m. above the top of this moulding and about 0.03m. from the side of the post, is a small hole, about 0.015m. in diameter, running through the post so far as preserved. Both posts are broken at the top, but it seems possible that the height preserved is nearly complete. One post is neatly spliced and patched at the bottom, apparently to make it the same height as the other; the patch was held in place by pegs. Along one face of each post is a deep groove, semi-circular in section, running from top to bottom; on the better preserved post this cutting is on the face at right angles to the one on which the leaf moulding and the peg hole appear.
