Stratum:   20% pebbles, a few larger cobbles.
Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the N. The soil color is light reddish brown. The soil compaction is loose. The soil is poorly sorted. It is coarse sand.
Notes:   Begin north trench by taking a strip 3.00 m. wide E-W along the west limit of the trench. This is north Trench I. North trench lies 3.10 m. north of south trench and at present 3.50 m. east of it. The area to the west of the first strip encompasses two trees, a telephone pole, and a water line cuts across the north side.
Nov. 18: Service decided to shift all buildings 2.70 m. to the west; in addition, plan calls for a projection 1.20 m. E-W by 4.00 m. N-S added to original plan. Therefore shift trench; leave a 0.70 m. strip undug on east side, and take remaining area to west. Use B24 again for topsoil Whole trench for building is 7.60 m. E-W at N. end, 6.40 m. at south end.
