With excavation of deposit 35 to north of wall, come on a construction of large field stones 1.05 m. E-W by 0.95 m. N-S. Stones average 0.20-0.40 m. long. Structure abuts wall 27 and projects at acute angle from it, apparently finishing neatly before north scarp. Unclear whether it is just a buttress of some sort, a jamb for a door or an earlier wall. But if the latter, it would have been evenly but by 27. Top at +82.65.
