In the fill found many sherds of Cor. ware, also a lamp (De Waele no. 10, CL 2549) of the 5th-4th cent. BC (forepart).and a frg. of a terrac. horse [probably TF 98 that was noted as possibly being the terracotta figurine on p. 89] with painted mane. The north side of the wall is fairly rough, at least in the ext. part, perhaps not visible here. The 6th course at the bottom is reached tomorrow. Near to it, with fill at the northside was a big frg. of a votive leg or foot (V 29). The sherds are all of 4th cent. Pottery. The little passage is more investigated.
