At this depth an embranchment which ends in the watertunnel O (cf. p. 171). Below this, mainly Greek frgs. and part of limbs. It is not certain that the embranchment was open in Roman times, although it is possible. | | | NB122 P167: [A-RR 36] The rock cutting noted yesterday averages .35m in depth, and extends W 3.25 m; and the whole area is closely filled with sherds and miniature vases and figurines, as yesterday (N-E well).
