Well preserved. Th. 0.011, H. of letters 0.05 A-B measures 0.17x0.08, C 0.03x0.03, D 0.10x0.09 Found I-J, 46-48 Probably goes with inscription found March 20, see p. 34 [I-1329]. 1. Coin (illegible) found in area V, at approx level of top of wall at [illegible] in area near 46-48:I-J C-1934-1513 here and pieces of C-1934-[illegible] 2. coin found in top fill in area east of area V [Box 830][M. Villehardonin?] Half of Corinthian capital (H. 0.15, W. 0.15). Coarse gray marble, upper and central part hollowed out,. Iron dowel still remaining in bottom. Remains of red paint. (?) Found in area V, in Roman fill, near the wall 41-D. Capital had only 4 acanthus leaves. Burned at one time. Small fragment broken off.
