Four fragments of Late Roman inscription (5th c?) white marble, letters filled with red, very poorly made. Well preserved. Th. 0.011, H. of letters 0.05

Half of Corinthian capital (H. 0.15, W. 0.15). Coarse gray marble, upper and central part hollowed out,. Iron dowel still remaining in bottom. Remains of red paint. (?) Found in area V, in Roman fill, near the wall 41-D. Capital had only 4 acanthus leaves. Burned at one time. Small fragment broken off.
