Stratum: | Trial trench in Cut #1, red fill south of Wall a.
Notes: | We dug around Wall #33. There seems to be a wall running East and West from the south end. The wall is just south of pithos #1. This area is not very clear but walls #6, 33, and the new wall should be earlier than #4 and 31. The stub of wall #31 perhaps supported stairs which would also rest on wall #33 which should be about at the floor level of the late building.
