Using Basket #5 we began removing Wall #14. [Finds stamp.]
Wall #14, discovered on April 24, is the western portion of Wall F-2. Wall F-2 was discovered April 17 at ΠΗ-ΟΣΤ/103-100, with an upper elevation of +86.580, a lower elevation of +84.474, and an average thickness of .60 m (see NB229, p. 15). The south face of Wall #14 with the stub of Wall #2 in the background at the right is shown in photograph #9 (Neg. 61-5-10; Ph. Vol. 18, p. 27).
New levelling points set up: M - ΠΑ/116, S return of Wall F-1, +86.775; N - ΠΑ/114, W end of F-1, +86.608; P - Block at ΠΑ/110, +86.143; Q - Block at ΠΑ/109, +86.077; R - E end of Wall G-16, +85.756.
April 28 (p. 55)
We finished destroying Wall #14, using Basket #5 of April 27. In this fill we found a coin [AG-no inventory number given] and a piece of Classical terracotta with traces of red paint.
