Notes: | E V From ca. 1.10-1.65 at upper end. Very little pottery. Mostly rough and coarse. Seems to be Urfirnis. At bottom of trench is stereo. Urfirnis right on stereo. 1 small piece is good red. In this section is a small mass of stones near stereo which may be a corner of a wall. Very irregular ca. 0.46 high. [p. 345] E V 1.10-1.65 Mostly coarse sherds 15 sherds from pithoi. Plain black Urfirnis on local clay is characteristic 20 sherds; plain red 4 sherds. Plain buff 6 sherds. Polished red and buff 2 sherds. Obsidian 4 flakes including a knife blade [MN: 47 / 207] | |
