Notes:   We have begun a new section still farther NW. This is section "L". L I includes [0.25 crossed out] 0.20 m depth. Largely Mycenaean sherds. Many pieces from a large coarse pithos.

L I 0.00-0.20 Includes a good deal of digging around Megaron house. Large no. of sherds.
Mycenaean. A great number LM III mostly painted-simple linear decoration. Some unpainted.
Note. Upper part incl. neck and lip of an oinochoe (17 pieces). Decorated with poor black paint handle preserved.
Upper part w. neck and rim of a large water jug like amphora but only one handle. (12 pieces) Decorated with broad parallel lines.
2 coarse pots glued together of many pieces. One is a small jug with wide mouth and one handle. Most of this one put together.

Lower part of a skyphos decorated with broad red lines.
Cup with one handle (like that of kantharos). 5 pieces (part missing). Upper part only is painted.

Parts of two idols. One has arms folded across breast.
