Notes: | P XIII 2.80-3.00. Some sherds of good Urfirnis. A terracotta spindlewhorl and a small round ball. [p. 364] P XIII 2.80-3.00 Urfirnis characteristic the wash type 15 to 20 thin pieces. Also on several coarse sherds from pithoi etc. [MN: black] One of these coarse frags. of pithos has triple incised rope band around neck and on top of lip has two rows of cuneiform incisions. This has thin black Urfirnis wash. [MN: red] There are also 15 to 20 pieces with thin red wash. Clay is red buff. Not very fine quality. Spindle whorl of [sketch of spindle whorl] usual shape Small ball of red coarse clay. | |
