[The pottery below comes from NB 81 B 86 and NB 81 B 97] [p. 370] S V 1.25-1.45 (2 trays) [MN: check mark here and first four headings incl. polished ware] Mycenaean LM III painted 2 sherds Unpainted buff and yellow green 9 sherds some of these Mycenaean others nondescript Coarse nondescript 9 sherds Polished ware (to imitate Minyan?) black 6 sherds [AddN: Argive Minyan?]; brown 6 sherds; green (part of a base) 1 sherd. Generally handmade Minyan 24 sherds including gray, black, brownish, and 1 sherd a good brown red (23 real Minyan) Mattmalerei (a) black on green or yellow green 17 sherds generally rather coarse w geometric [p. 371] decoration (linear) in broad lines. But 2 or 3 sherds are finer and have narrower lines. One sherd has a spiral ornament. Surface is greenish yellow buff slightly polished [sketch of sherd] (b) black on buff, yellow buff and red buff 14 sherds. Mostly fairly coarse; linear 2 or 3 fine pieces (c) purple-black on buff or creamy buff. 3 sherds. 2 (creamy buff) have rather fine lines.
