Stratum:   Fill from Well 2004-1. sandy clay, yellowish brown with a lot of gray clay particles and red inclusions; rare subrounded angular cobbles.
Notes:   Basket 82 is the continuation fo the fill from the well. The soil matrix contains more sand so it has a lighter color but is still mostly clay and loosely packed. We are continuing to dry sieve 90 % of the soil and wet seive 10 %. There are some clumps of pure gray clay and rare angular and tabular subrounded cobbles. Towards the bottom of the basket, chunks of harder red material began to appear. This material proved to mark the bottom of the well that ended with hard, sterile red soil, very compact.
