Stratum:   Deposit west of Wall 190. Fine reddish brown dirt with 20% fine and medium pebbles and rare cobbles.
Notes:   B84 was dug to try to define the edges of the grey soil around wall 190. The top of 84 lies at the level at which we initially defined the grey patch, which is still visible at this level to the E. B84 meets 83 on the W and S, where the boundary between the dark brown soil of 83 and the much redder soil of 84 is clear. To the N and E 84 disappears under higher layers that have not been removed yet. The soil of 84 isa a fine silty reddish brown dirt full of small to medium sized pebbles and a few rare cobbles. Only a few sherds were found in it.
