Stratum:   Possible destruction fill: light yellowish-brown silty sandy soil with 30-40% inclusions of small to coarse pebbles, some tile, no plaster. Very compacted.
Notes:   B 67 is a continuation of B 61, which was stopped for fear of contamination. This entire basket will be seived, 4 zembils dry sieve to 1 zembil water sieve. The tiles were saved and weighed (67 fragments, weight 15,55 kg.). Iron nails were found at the N end of the B near wall 291. Mixed clods of white dirt are being uncovered at the W end of the trench. Small pick used throughout. Underneath this B appears to be a layer of many broken tiles. These will be excavated in a separate basket.
