| Notes: | We removed the pass south of wall 291 and west of wall 290. The soil retained uniform structure throughout the layer, no change of color against the inner face of wall 215. We hit a patch of more compact and reddish soil at the N area of the basket with fragments of tiles and pebbles. The level of this patch increases in height as it reaches the W face of the southernmost block of wall 290. We stopped B43 in order to clear away the softer and clayey soil the turned up at the S side of the basket.
