Stratum:   Levelling trench? Soil is light/medium reddish brown sandy clay with 20% pebbles, 10% cobbles, loosish.
Notes:   B 59 is the excavation of a narrow strip of soil just south of wall 215 within the area of B 58. It is significantly redder and softer thant the soil around it. Bill believes that it may be a foundation trench for the wall. The red layer seems to run under the whiter layer to the south. Found plaster. Top plan pg. 145.
