Notes:   Basket 22 is the removal of a lens of soil to the W of the column drum and NE of the series of boulders (darin?). It consists of a deposit od dark brown sandy silt, slightly compacted with a small percentage of pebbles (10%). This layer was on top of a layer of reddish brown soil that contains flecks of charcoal and yellow clay inclusions. The removal of the lens (B23) is intended to uncover more of the reddish brown soil which seems the same as some other areas of the trench (see B20 and B21).
