Corinth Basket: NB978 B87 P183
Collection:   Corinth
Type:   Basket
Name:   NB978 B87 P183
Area:   Panaghia north
Category:   Basket/zembil
Notebook:   978
Context:   87
Page:   183
Date:   2006/05/23
Stratum:   Fill with cobbles
Notes:   The matrix of this basket is medium brown compact sandy silt with 5% cobbles. B 87 is an area between W 282 and the large stones that were removed in B 83 which appears to have a distinct concentration of pottery on the surface mixed together with medium sized cobbles. It is thought that B 87 is a fill within the entire area from 963 to 964N and therefore it is removed first. Together with it a small boulder that has been sitting on dirt on top of W 282 is also removed. The end of B 87 revealed the same surface matrix that can be detected further to the N until 966.5 N.
