Notes:   The matrix of this basket is medium brown sandy silt weakly cemented with 5 % pebbles. B 93 is the removal of a deposit of dark brown soil that extends from the N edge of the tile lined pit to ca. 966.5 and from 422.5 to the E scarp. The deposit seems to be sitting on top of a layer of redder soil with more pebble inclusions that has been uncovered just W of the B 93 deposit extending down to 966.5. The removal of B 93 revealed more of the wall that is thought to be a continuation of W 265, which features both stone and roof tile fragments in its construction. Some grey clay inclusions were also uncovered, that seemed to form a quarter of a circle starting formt the E baulk at ca. 965.5 N. It was decided to scrape them in order to further investigate it they were part of some event or just simple inclusions. Upon scraping through the clay a dark blackish brown layer is found with pieces of burned sherds in it, that also seems to go along the E baulk, forming a pi shape. The soil in the center of the pi formation and to its S is brown reddish.
