Stratum:   B 10 is an excavation pass. Medium-light yellowish brown sandy-silt with 20% pebbles and 20% cobbles, compact.
Notes:   B 10 is an excavation pass to the south of Pits 2006-01 and 2005-01 because pit 2006-01 is starting to get deep and rather dangerous. The reason it is a pass is because south from B 10 and north of the Foundation trench B 49 the soil is more cobbly. All of us agree that B 10 will probably look more cobbly once we take off a pass or two. After taking off a pass we concluded that a light colored floor underneath is the same as the light colored floor underneath the cobbly patch to the south of B 10. But first we are going to determine if we can follow the foundation trench B 49 to the east because the soil there is softer. The floor that we uncovered is different than B 7 because 7 was darker and looser. See pg. 18 for top plan.
