Stratum:   Pit fill north of Wall 260. The stratum is medium/dark reddish brown sandy clay with 15% pebbles and 5% cobbles, loose.
Notes:   B 33 is the excavation of the next layer in the pit just north of Wall 260. We stopped excavating when the soil became more clayish and harder. However, there is a sherd sticking up at the bottom so we will take one more layer out of it after we remove B 34, which is the darkish chunk just south of Wall 215. We are taking some layers off of the colluvium in order to look for Geometric burials, which tend to be cut into the colluvium and could be in association with the possible road surface if it has a Geometric phase. We sieved 100%. See pg. 58 for top plan.
