At the bottom of the basket, the earth is softer but still fairly rocky. It seems to be the same as the soft rocky earth into which the tile feature was cut and which was excavated in B83 (the actual cut was probably missed). The remainder of the block partially revealed in B63 has been uncovered; it is approx. 1.25 m. in length and extends to the W edge of the N cut.
