Stratum:   fill medium brownish brown clayey silt with 5-10% pebbles and small cobbles, poorly sorted.
Notes:   This basket was begun after the extent of the grave cut was revealed by baskets 8 and 12. It includes the soil from above and around the skeleton. This grave very clearly cut through Gr 2006-10 to its east and lies immediately below Gr 2006-8, which appears to have been placed inside the cut at a higher elevation. The soil around the skeleton is soft and relatively loose. The excavations revealed a nearly complete skeleton (some damage done by our picks to the skull) with a vessel and an iron object on either side of the head.
