Notes:   The matrix of this basket is ligth reddish brown sandy silt, compact, with 5-10% cobble and pebble inclusions. B13 streaches all around the pit dugin B's 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and extends to ca. 1.0 m. to the W of it. Compared to the soil in the W, B13 is a light reddish brown, much softer, that seems to cut into the harder reddish brown in the W. This is meant to be an exploratory basket in order to define its limits. After one pass to the S of the pit (B's 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) and to the N of pit 2006-3 a layer with a high cobble concentration is evident and it is decided not to excavate there at this point since it appears to separate the two pits. To the N of the pit (B's 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) there is a series of medium sized cobbles and roof tile fragments mixed with darker brown soil that seem to be an extension of the demolished wall that is directly to the N of the last block of W294. To the W of the pit (B's 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) after a couple passes we came across the same reddish brown soil that is further to the W and formed the bottom layer of B10. It is decided to end the basket at this point.
