Notes:   The matrix of this basket is medium brown sandy silt, compact to loose, with 15-20% cobble inclusions. B22 is the continuation of B21. After a small pass a harder layer is reached on the W half of B22 and therefore excavation proceeded only on its E half where the soil remained softer. The basket ended when the level of the bottom of the pit (B's 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) was reached.
