Corinth Basket: NB983 B40 P90 Collection: | | Corinth | Type: | | Basket | Name: | | NB983 B40 P90 | Area: | | Panaghia north | Category: | | Basket/zembil | Notebook: | | 983 | Context: | | 40 | Page: | | 90 | Date: | | 2006/06/19 | Stratum: | | Cobbly fill | Notes: | | The matrix of this basket is reddish brown sandy silt, compact, with 20-25% cobbles and 5% pebble inclusions. B40 formed the bottom layer for B32 and B28. It contained a significant amount of small to medium sized cobbles and reddish brown soil. After one pass a hacked out block was partially uncovered that seemed to be the same material as the other two blocks with the S-N orientation. Its E side was dressed but the rest was almost completely hacked out. Its extent towards the N has not been clearly defined yet. | Context Pottery: | | Coarseware.
