Notes:		The matrix of this basket is dark greyish brown sandy silt, compact, with 2% pebble inclusions. B47 is the continuation of B45. B45 was interrupted for the purpose of excavating more of the foundation trench of the N side of W215 (B46). After it was impossible to proceed any deeper in the foundation trench, excavation was carried on back to the area of B45. A ca 0.25 meter martyr was left to the N of the foundation trench in order to avoid any contamination, and another martyr was left for ca 0.15 meters to the W of the two blocks also in order to avoid contamination from any possible remains of the foundation trench (B43) of the two blocks. The basket ends because it is the final day of excavating for this season. However the dark greyish brown soil seems to continue. It is possible that this area is a similar pit with the one dug in NB971 B63, that was dug in order to access the large drain.
