Stratum:   Mixed fill. Dark yellowish-brown, weakly-cemented, 15% inclusions, moderately sorted, pebbles and cobbles
Notes:   Continuation of the excavation of the pit (bothros). This pass reveale d a change in soil type, with the yellowish-brown giving way to a darker layer. The lower level slopes downward from south to north in the northern half of the basket. This darker layer appears to be a separate fill in the same pit. Basket 53 also revealed a small section of a pebble-mosaic in the fill. The seive turned up coin 2007-22.
