Stratum:   Mixed fill west of pit 2006-4. Light yellowish-brown, poorly cemented, 5% inclusions, moderately sorted pebbles
Notes:   Continued excavation to the west of pit 2006-4 and the wellhead/manhole. This pass continued to reveal little pottery but a large amount of painted wall plaster. We uncovered a few tiles as well as remnants of mud brick. We also uncovered a single small bronze pin. While the soil type continues below basket 57, we stopped the basket due to the appearance of a layer of darker soil. (That mentioned in the comments for basket 50.) There was also very little bone and no shell.
