Notes:   Pass to remove the darker fill revealed at the close of basket 15. This basket uncovered numerous fragments of tile as well as a fair amount of pottery. We also uncovered some small fragments of painted wall plaster as well as a single sherd of glass. We closed the basket when we came across a change in the soil. This basket revealed a roughly circular edge sloping slightly to the east.
