It is clayey silt. | | Notes: | | We opened context 137 to try to determine the nature of the circular cut in the north side of room 10 exposed by the 2015 excavations, which appeared to be a pit full of rocks. It contained a high concentration-- c. 50%-- of large rocks, measuring up to 0.30m in diameter at the top levels. As the pit deepened, the rocks became more sparsely distributed, but also larger in size. Soil was uniformly dark and soft, and contained very little pottery and only one bone fragment. After excavating a little over one meter, we came upon a very large rock indeed: 0.55 x 0.32 x 0.41m.
