Stratum:   Small amount of ceramic material, virtually no rock
Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is very dark yellowish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is poorly sorted. It is silt.
Notes:   The detection of the pit south of the cistern led us to question whether the pit continued surrounding the cistern or not, so we first decided to clean the eastern face of wall 10 to prepare the area for excavation in order to see if traces of the pit cut could be detected. The coin in wall 10 (2016-153) was found during this process.
