Description:   Top slope of the context is steep down to the NE. The soil color is dark brownish grey. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   Context 209 was a sloped stack of dirt bound by wall 197 and the western scarp. It yielded some pottery. It might be associated with the area's initial cleaning pass, context 197. The context also produced a coin that likely dates to the early Byzantine period.
