Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is dark brownish grey. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is moderately sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   213 was more mixed fill that ran along the edge of the large scarp. It had a similar soil content with overlaying contexts including bone, pottery, and a moderate amount of inclusions. It likely overlays a larger pit fill that was part of context 207. 213 was excavated with the desire to further define or elucidate the pit fill. It is possible that this context is in fact the start of the pit fill, but it is difficult to determine at this time. This context did come down upon the soil that has characterized the ashy pit fill. Showing that this soil extended father to the south may indicate this soil may not be a pit, but simply a leveling fill.
