Stratum:   30% stones; 15% sub-rounded and tabular spherical medium pebbles; 10% sub-rounded spherical coarse pebbles; 15% tiles; 5% pottery; 5%sub-rounded spherical cobbles
Description:   The soil color is dark reddish black. The soil compaction is hard. The soil is poorly sorted. It is silty clay.
Notes:   - 25 similar in consistency to 21; 25 harder and more reddish than 19 (fill of cut 22)
- mixed: black and red hard soil; small amount of carbon pieces; glass
- Aim of pass is to expose remaining floor surface on baulk
- Context contains larger amount of tiles than previously encountered
- Surface below does not contain similar amounts of tiles and stones
- Exposed layer: 15-20cm strip along east side of baulk is a well-preserved floor(?) level
- West of strip: floor (?) less preserved, is broken by strip pf stones and tiles running N-S in center of baulk.
- West of stone and tile strip: floor is less preserved;
- Floor slopes down slopes down slightly in S-N direction along E. edge
- Past E. strip floor likely destroyed by collapse of room walls during destruction.
