Stratum:   2% pebbles, irregular. Slightler higher levels of CACO2/plaster
Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is dark reddish brown. The soil compaction is loose. The soil is poorly sorted. It is silty clay.
Notes:   This is a thin fill layer at the bottom of Pit 217 and consititues a hard-packed white layer that includes the impression of an ampohrae-butt from context 320 above.
Badly cut and truncated, so not entirely sure of original dimensions.
Irregular stones in wall that protrude indiate not a well-prepared nor formal pit feature but one which was expeditions and not formally prepared.
