| Description: | The soil color is dark reddish black. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is moderately sorted. It is clayey silt. | |
| Notes: | - 43 is adjacent to 41; 43 is overlaid by 37, 38, 39; 43 is more reddish and compact than 41 and 39. - During excavation of 43, it becomes apparent that 43 is largely the same consistency as 41, only slightly more reddish and compact and is likely only fill. - After excavation of 43, it becomes apparent that underneath lie two possible contexts: softer, darker earth in the N. half of room 3 and harder, more reddish earth in the S. half, possibly a floor level going with wall 42 (?) this is lower than the bottom of wall 35 and is therefore earlier - Softer, darker earth revealed in N. half of room runs entire length of wall 6 to the N. and is adjacent to it; this may therefore be a foundation trench of wall 6 and earlier "foundation trench" of context possibly not actually foundation trench for wall. - Reddish earth revealed in S. half may be floor surface level going with walls 6 and possibly 42.
