The soil is moderately sorted. It is silt. | | Notes: | | We opened context 47 on 6/6/16 to find features and levels associated with the construction of wall 18 and the drain underneath it (structure 45). Soil was harder further to the east and softer further west. There were very few inclusions, and no finds were collected. About 1.5 meters from the southern baulk, Thanasis detected a redder, harder deposit projecting into context 47 from wall 18. Some squared stone fragments also appeared close to the baulk, which may have been collapse debris from wall 42.
